It's better to take the right turn to Lojing-Cameron Highlands from Gua Musang instead of going down to KL via Kuala Lipis-Raub.
They just built a new highway there across the cool highlands. You can stop at Cameron if you like.
From Cameron, you can proceed to KL or Shah Alam via Simpang Pulai-Ipoh road, down the Lebuhraya Utara Selatan through Perak state.
yup am aware of that route too... but decided to try out the Kuala Lipis-Raub since have never tried. We were are Cameron couple of years back.
