Yes... Izzy Jr#1 has reached the pinnacle of cub scouting.... he graduated & received the Arrow of Light award. It was sure hard work for the last 1.5 years... but sure worth it. They enjoyed all the activities indoor or outdoor. They have sure grown into bigger boys!

The ceremony was held at the Singapore American School last weekend. The boys in his Webelos II Den 5 must be very proud of themselves.... CONGRATS!!!

Cub Scout - SCDF Visit

Izzy Jr #2 visited the Fire station last December with his cub scout members.  This time his elder brother joined in the fun.  They tested the high pressure water gun (free shower on a hot morning) & went-up the fire engine boomlift.

Yup... Capricorn boy had his b'day party at a bowling club.  He sure enjoyed himself!  It was bowling, food & boys havoc for 2 hours!!

Cub Scout - Singapore Historical Trail

Several weeks ago, the boys and 1 of their cub scout den mate & his sister went for the Singapore Historical Trail. It was quite a walk... about 3.5 hours walk visiting more than 20 locations... they had to answer questions along the way as well... & they took turns to do that. All in all, a good educational trip for them + all the goofing around as well! The weather at that time was great for a long walk as well!

This week, Izzy Jr#2 had his second outing with his den.... he went pack hiking at the MacRitchie Reservoir... It was an easy and fun walk. His brother also joined the walk....

In the beginning... everyone had more than enough energy!!!

Cub Scoting - Boy Scout Familiarisation

Well... next year Izzy Jr#1 will have to decide whether he wants to continue his cub scout (& join the boy's scout). To help him decide, he spent 1/2 day at Pulau Ubin checking out the boy scout activities... the boy scouts were having 3 day-2 night camping. Izzy Jr together with his cub scout den joined the mountain bike activity... We cycled for about 3 hours.
